Configuring SMS & Push Staff Notifications

Each staff member can determine whether or not they want to receive SMS notifications and/or push notifications to the Wolbix app on their mobile device. These notifications are triggered by new bookings, payments, reminders and contact requests from clients.  Admins and Managers can set up these notifications for all staff. All other roles will only have access to their own settings.

SMS Notifications

SMS staff notifications are available to anyone on the Essentials subscription or higher.This feature will allow staff to receive a text message for every contact or appointment request, and quickly reply right from their phone or mobile device.  SMS reminders will be sent at the same time client reminders are triggered (set in Settings > Auto Client Messages). If appointment reminders have been disabled, then staff will not receive any reminders as well. 
 

SMS Notification Setup (Admin/Manager)
 

  1. Click on Settings > Staff

  2. Hover over the staff member > click on the 3 Dots

  3. Select "Staff Settings" 

  4. Click on "My Notifications"

  5. Select "Receive text messages (SMS) for new bookings, payment, contact requests for a quicker response"

  6. Enter your mobile phone number

  7. Click on "Save Changes"
     

SMS Notification Setup (Marketing/Collaborator/Users)
 

  1. Go to Settings>My Notifications

  2. To enable SMS notifications check the Mobile Text Notifications box

  3. Enter in the phone number that should receive the SMS notifications

  4. Click the "Save Changes" button

 

Push Notifications

**For the push notifications to work, ensure the staff member has installed the Wolbix app on their iPhone or Android phone. **

Push notifications are available to any user at any subscription level. Once the Wolbix app is installed on your mobile device and push notifications have been enabled, you will receive mobile notifications for appointment reminders, new messages, appointment request and updates, and new payments and contact requests. Push appointment reminders will be sent at the same time client reminders are triggered. If reminders have been disabled, then staff will not receive any reminders as well.

How to Enable Staff Push Notifications (Admin/Managers)
 

  1. Click on Settings > Staff

  2. Hover over the staff member > click on the 3 Dots

  3. Select "Staff Settings" 

  4. Click on "My Notifications"

  5. Select "Receive notifications on new messages when the mobile app is installed."

  6. Click on "Save Changes"
     

How to Enable Staff Push Notifications (Marketing/Collaborator/User)
 

  1. Go to Settings>My Notifications

  2. To enable Push notifications from the app check Mobile App Notifications

  3. Click the "Save Changes" button
